Papa passed away... a year and a half ago. It's still fresh. It's still sad. It still sucks.
But today is his birthday...
and I won't dwell on him not being here...
I'm just happy that he was here...
that he raised me...
that he was my father when I had none...
I would be a far worse person without him....
Happy Birthday, Papa! Thank you for everything you've done for me. May God bless you, take care of you, and allow you to rest in peace. We love and miss you down here. You will never be forgotten.
